Do you have a MacBook Pro 15″ 2012 Mid 2012 & Early 2013 with a Black screen or kernel panic issue? IF so most likely your MacBook is plagued with this sickness. Often users will find they can not boot into OS or sometimes stuck on a white screen.

What causes this problem?

The problem is caused by the poor contact points around the U8900 MUX chip. Apple’s solution to the problem at the time was to put a stick rubber on top of the U8900 chip.
