I can highly recommend the service of Gadget Fix. The logic board of my MacBook was damaged (spilled liquid), but luckily they were able to fix it quickly and for a very fair price.

These guys are great. They care about you and your device. Their interest is in finding the problem and fixing it for you, you're not a number to them. That and they'll beat anyone on price. Couldn't recommend them more.

Respectful, ethical, prompt, professional and honest. Recovered my lost data from a completely ruined laptop at 5.45pm on a Friday when I had an assignment due Monday. I was so stressed it must have been obvious I would have paid anything not to lose months of data. They charged the minimum service fee and gave great advice without being condescending and giving a lecture on the importance of backing up. The real test of a business is not when things go right, but when they go wrong. I purchased a MacBook Pro 2011 from these guys at Xmas which they had souped up to the max, new ssd drive & extra ram, they also transferred all the data over from my broken Mac. The graphics card failed about 4 months later, 1 month after their warranty finished, A common issue with this model so I brought it to Apple who said nothing could be done, Gadget Fix bypassed the primary graphics card and got it working perfectly again in a day, even though it was outside their warranty they fixed it for free. This is the benefit of dealing with a smaller business they care about your business and I’m sure these guys have plenty of return customers, I know I’ll be one. Can’t recommend them enough. Paul

I sent my phone to Gadget Fix after water damage. The phone had been looked at by two other mobile repairers who couldnt help. I hadn't backed up for two years and run my business from my phone so I was desperate to get the data. Not only did they get the phone on so that I could retrieve all of the media and data, Obi took time out to explain my options on the phone with my best interest in mind, keeping the cost as low as possible. He also provided evidence of his work in email so that i could make an insurance claim. All in all this was a absolute life saver for me and the service was professional, honest and trustworthy. Excellent service! I had logic board issues and the Apple store quoted $750.00 to fix it(more than the value of the laptop). I messaged these guys and they told me they could do it for a fraction of the cost! They fixed it with no problems and I requested they upgrade my hard drive to an ssd and do various other upgrades to improve and future proof my MacBook. They have managed to do all of this for less than what the Apple store quoted for just the logic board repairs alone! These guys are absolute professionals and I can’t believe how good my MacBook is running now, much better than when I bought it initially 6 years ago. It runs like one of the newer MacBooks.
